India's Mission to Mars officially announced by PM

  ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation), all set to travel  and visit our neighboring planet Mars.  Today, Independence day of India PM Manmohan singh has officially announced India's maiden mission to Mars from the Red Fort while addressing the nation on Independence Day.

  ISRO getting ready to launch a small unmanned satellite to Mars as early an November next year which might join hands with NASA's Curiosity Rover in exploring Mars environment.

  PM said that "Recently the Cabinet has approved the Mars Orbiter Mission.  Under this Mission,  our spaceship will go near Mars and collect important scientific information.  This spaceship to Mars will be a huge step for us in the area of science and technology", he said in his speech today.

  This ambition space mission get to spice up the race between Asian nations, let see who will get their first is it India or China.
